Kerry Itami helps achievers and changemakers to build self trust.

She writes, paints, composes, meditates, and teaches. She enjoys combining melodic, rhythmic motif, emotion, dissonance, and harmony with words, sound, and paint.

Kerry’s art journey started over 20 years ago; it includes drawing portraits, painting landscapes, and still life.  She moved to explore abstract art and fell in love with it.  Her specialties are archival mixed media: ink, acrylic, paper, clay, charcoal, and graphite.

Besides her career and passion for visual art, she also holds a degree in Music Technology with composition focus.  Her creative outlets include painting and composing music. Growing up and living in different parts of the world, her rich cultural background also guides the creation of her art.

When she is not creating, she enjoys molecular gastronomy, east coast swing dance, staring at Puget Sound by her studio, meditation, chanting, qigong, study meridians for internal organs and writing poems, painting with words.

Her new book Cherish: Precious Treasures Poetry collection is now available.

Kerry currently lives and works in Seattle, U.S.A.
